Dental Assisting Institute Mission Statement
We have served Florida's Tampa Bay area since 2000. The areas covered by our services include the entire State of Florida.
Our mission is to certify all dental assistants in the State of Florida to perform all radiographic and expanded functions as allowed by state law in a professional manner that makes learning fun and affordable. To continue to provide a mutually beneficial professional career relationship and fill a need in the local dental community for quality dental assistants.

Ronda Marks, RDH ~ Director of Education

Ronda Marks is a
dental hygienist who graduated from the dental hygiene
program at St. Petersburg College in 1999, and completed the
Bachelor for Dental Hygiene program in 2010. She has been in
the dental field for nearly 20 years, working in every facet
of the dental office from front desk, assisting, dental
hygiene to business management. In 2000, Ronda started
teaching CPR Certification for the American Heart
Association. She enjoyed teaching so much that she developed
the curriculum for the weekend EFDA and Radiology
Certification courses and began teaching at Dental Assisting
Institute in 2000. Since the beginning of the program she
has certified more than a thousand dental assistants. She is
now the Director of Dental Assisting Institute as well as
one of the instructors. |
Amy Corey, EFDA ~ Clinical Instructor

Amy Corey is a skilled dental
assistant that received her EFDA and Radiology
Certifications in 1991.
She has been teaching with the Dental Assisting
Institute since its inception in 2000.
She is a huge asset to the school and shares over 20
years of dental assisting experience with all of her
students. She
has strong communication and motivational skills that make
her an exceptional educator. |
Erika Vahterainen ~ Teaching Staff

Erika has been a valuable
member of Dental Assisting Institute's
teaching staff since 2010. She is DANB certified and brings over 15 years clinical experience in the areas of general , oral surgery, periodontics and endodontics dentistry. |
