The role of a Dental Assistant is very important to a dentist and is a big part of the dental team.

•     Greet the patients

•      Review medical history

•     Describe procedures to the patient

•     Record conditions of the oral cavity

•     Take and develop x-rays

•     Assist the doctor with dental procedures

•     Set up and break down examination rooms 

•     Sterilize dental instruments

The course runs for 10 consecutive weeks Tue & Thurs   5:30 – 9:30 pm.  Our classes are a fast paced learning environment including book study with a majority of the course being actual hands on training in a real dental office setting.  You will be trained by dental professionals with an emphasis on procedures that will allow you to obtain an entry level dental assisting position.

            What sets our school out from other dental assisting schools in the area is not only do you receive a certificate for completing the Program but after you have completed your externship where you are formally trained by a Florida licensed dentist you will also receive your State of Florida Expanded Functions and Radiology Certificates at no additional charge to you.  Other programs require you on your own after completing the program to pay addition costs and additional schooling to obtain these Required Florida Certificates.

            Upon graduation e will assist you in trying to find employment as a dental assistant. Once payment has been received we will contact you to thoroughly go over the course material to get you started in your new exciting career as a DENTAL ASSISTANT.
