Course Description                                   Cost: $850

EFDA/XRAY Combo Course: This is a one day course for a dental assistant who has been formally trained by a licensed dentist for a minimum of three months. Students in the EFDA/XRAY combo class must be proficient in all areas of expanded duties and radiographic functions in a clinical setting as listed below.

Students registering for this combo class will be required to be prepared by reading, studying course materials and pass an online exam with a grade of 75% or better to become certified.  After registration, students will recieve all couse materials and detailed instructions for course participation and online examination via email. Class size is limited to 10 students.   

Students attending must bring with them to the class: a 4 hole motor (slow-speed)& straight attachment, acrylic bur, safety glasses, mask and a basic set-up (mirror, explorer, air/water tip). These instruments are not provided but may be rented for $50.  The instrument rental fee must be paid prior to class.     

  NOTE: All classes consist of a blended format with an online study module and a clinical portion in our facility.

Refund Policy

Since Class space is limited and we usually have a waiting list 5-day notice must be given to cancel and receive a refund or to transfer to the next class. Refunds will be less $25 registration fee. You can transfer to the next class date if notice is less than 5 days with a $100 transfer fee. NO EXCEPTIONS.
