Course Description

EFDA Course 

This is a two day course for a dental assistant already trained by a licensed dentist.  Students in the weekend EFDA Class must be able to perform all the expanded functions to be certified in and have been formally trained by a licensed dentist.

¨      Polishing

¨       Matrices
¨      Alginate Impressions  ¨       Temporary Restorations
¨       Fluorides ¨      Sealants
¨       Periodontal Dressing

¨     Temporary crown & bridge fabrication
¨       Topical Anesthetic ¨       Charting
¨       Suture Removal ¨       Dental Dams
¨     Retraction Cord      

After passing a written exam with a grade of 75% or better a certificate will be issued.
